Just a little bit about us........

 

Hello and thank you for visiting my website. I am a Limerick based photographer and film maker covering weddings, portraiture and other assignments throughout Ireland and abroad. Over the years I have received many awards from professional bodies.

I have been in the photographic / imaging business for over fifteen years, having had a previous career in electronics and software engineering.

When it comes to photographing and filming weddings, my style really falls into the documentary genre - that is it leans more on reportage rather than being directed. This really captures the true essence of people and events. This approach gives a very fresh and contemporary feel to my photographic portfolio and films.

I am also a portraiture photographer, having trained in the UK and Ireland with some of the great portrait photographers such as Bjorn Thomassen and Frank Doorhof.

In the last few years my sons Ian and Darragh have joined me in the film side of the business - Insight Films, and have shown natural ability and flair which has been really rewarding.

Photography and film have been my full time career for so many years and I am really truly blessed in saying that I love what I do. The industry has been good to me and I like to give something back - my passion and true love for this amazing artform.
